Visit a official website for Last State:
If the Steam page left you with “OK… but what is the game actually like?”, this site is meant to fix that.
On the website you’ll find:
A clear, structured overview of what Last State is
Core gameplay explained so you can quickly understand what you’ll be doing moment-to-moment
A visual snapshot (screens/videos) that matches the explanation — so you’re not guessing what the words mean
The essential info in one place, without needing to dig through posts or random links
The goal is simple: you should be able to leave the site understanding what Last State is and whether it’s your kind of game.
If you check it out, I’d love to hear what still feels unclear. That’s exactly what the site is for.
SPOILERS: The website contains a lot of gameplay mechanics, so if you prefer to discover them directly in the game, wait for the first playtest.
