Hello everyone,
Version 2.2.0 will be live as of this post. There are three major changes:
Added transcripts for each of the cassette tapes. Common feedback said that the tapes were a little hard to understand, so this should remedy that. A button will appear under unlocked tapes.
FINALLY fixed a bug where the monster's branch would not appear during the jumpscare for some users, making it extremely lame and making me feel physical pain every time I watch someone's recording of the game. This bug has lasted so long because I don't own any hardware that the bug occurs on. However, after reviewing the code, I believe it should finally be squashed.
Adjusted the audio of Tape 1 for a more streamlined opening. The video tutorial largely took the role of the old recording, so the new one is much more succinct (and, notably, lets the player know they can skip the dialogue).
Feedback is always welcome! Let me know your thoughts.
