Hello Mechanics,
Development on our next title, [D1AL-ogue+], is steadily progressing.
Regarding the crowdfunding mentioned previously, we are currently aligning our internal plans. We will provide another update through the community as soon as the schedule is confirmed.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our players who continue to show unwavering support, and we will keep doing our absolute best to live up to your expectations.
We are excited to share the June development update for our next title, [D1AL-ogue+].
1. What's Been Completed
We have made meaningful progress across multiple tasks. While it is difficult to share all the details just yet, we would like to share some of them in this devlog.
Visual Update: The visuals for the D1AL equipment have been updated.
Repair Animation Update: Prey's repair animation has been updated.
News & Community System Implementation: We have added News and Community UIs to more naturally deliver story events and character reactions.
Orca Animation Updates: Various animations for Orca have been added.
2. What's Next
Story Planning:
We are currently planning the final story segment that will follow the main storyline.
New Supporting Characters:
We are adding supporting characters who, while not clients seeking repairs, perform various roles within Chroma City.
New Puzzle Gimmicks:
To enhance the core fun of the matching puzzle system, we are implementing a new gimmick that focuses on the enjoyment of chain-merging.
3-1. Share Your Ideas for the Puzzles!
We are currently refining the direction of the puzzle mechanics. If there are any features you would like to see added, or rules you think would make the puzzles more fun, please feel free to leave your feedback!
3-2. Regarding Controller Support
In addition to keyboard and mouse, we are currently considering adding controller support. We would love to know if there are players who prefer to experience our next title using a controller. Please let us know your thoughts.
3-3. English Localization Improvements for the Previous Title Are in the Final Stages
We acknowledge that the initial English localization of our previous title, D1AL-ogue, contained some awkward and inaccurate translations. To address this, we have been working continuously on improvements. Thanks to the help of several individuals, we are currently conducting a final review of the revised English text, and most of the corrections are now complete.
The updated English localization will be deployed as soon as the final review is finished. Following this, we will sequentially review the localizations for other languages. Even if it takes some time, we will continue to make improvements.
