Welcome to October! 🩸
The spookiest month of the year is officially upon us, and at Lexip Games, the excitement couldn't be higher. We are just two weeks away from launch!
Today, we wanted to share a quick behind the scenes look at how Silent Wounds: The Doll evolved into what it is today.
When we first started building this project, our plan was to create a classic, retro PSX style horror game. It was simple, nostalgic, and fun to build. However, as the narrative grew deeper and the psychological elements took center stage, we realized something crucial: the retro look wasn't delivering the oppressive, suffocating atmosphere the story truly deserved.
So, we made a bold decision we completely overhauled the visuals mid development.

We shifted to a realistic, high-fidelity aesthetic to make every shadow feel alive, every room suffocatingly dense, and every detail unsettlingly close. Our goal was to build psychological dread purely through environment, sound, and story with zero cheap jump scares.
Now, as we step into October, the stage is set.
In just a few days, you’ll finally get to step into the darkness, uncover the truth, and meet Victor... and his doll. 👁️
