Hello, Chefs!
A new update is here for Midnight Ramen Chef! This version focuses on making the shop management more rewarding and the kitchen gameplay more dynamic and accessible.
What’s New in v0.1.5:
New Navigation Controls & Info Bar: I noticed players sometimes struggled to switch between the Customer Area and the Kitchen on their first day.
New Controls: You can now switch areas using A / D or the Left / Right Arrow Keys, in addition to the mouse.
Guidance: An info bar has been added to the first day to guide new chefs on how to navigate the shop.
Functional Shop Upgrades: Previously, shop upgrades didn't affect the gameplay. They have now been updated to provide active benefits, helping you run your shop more efficiently.
Faster Game Pace: To keep the action intense, the day length has been decreased, but customers now arrive more frequently. Keep those bowls moving!
Skill-Based Payments: The old "Tips and Refunds" system has been removed. Now, your income is directly tied to the accuracy of the ramen bowl you prepare. Precision is key!
Economy Rebalance: Shop prices have been updated to better align with the new gameplay benefits of the upgrades.
Bug Fixes & UI Polishing:
Ghost Money Fixed: Fixed a bug where the money icon would remain on the counter even after the cash was collected.
Instant Orders: Resolved an issue where the order icon appeared with a delay. Now, the icon pops up the exact moment a customer arrives.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback as the game continues to grow. Get back to the counter those hungry customers are waiting!
