Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for the wishlists and purchases. Your feedback proves that the 1,000+ hours I spent developing this short story were well worth it.
Today's news isn't just about gratitude; it's about bug fixes. Even though I spent about 100 hours debugging, the release revealed some issues I never expected.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where the game would not progress if clicked faster than once every 200ms.
Fixed a freeze when pressing Spacebar and Left Mouse Button simultaneously.
Patient 7 now correctly disappears after inspection.
Fixed dialogue skipping through two scenarios at once if buttons were pressed too quickly.
Fixed a game freeze caused by clicking on characters' heads (lol).
Fixed the "Continue" button issue where the game would sometimes restart instead of loading the save.
Switching languages no longer advances the plot by one line.
Restored two missing words in the President's speech (English version).
The ending title on the final screen now correctly matches the ending you actually achieved.
Fixed text overflow for the "Good Ending" title.
Improvements:
Improved readability of the background and text on the final screen.
Added animated transitions to the final monologue and screen.
Made character colors more vibrant.
Recolored the Guard from white to a more fitting swamp-green.
And the coolest part — AUDIO!
The game now features ambient music generated by every letter in the dialogue. This means the melody will be unique for every language version!
Thank you for your support and understanding regarding the state of the game. I am currently double-checking the Cloud Save logic. If you start playing on PC and decide to finish in bed on your Steam Deck, please keep an eye on your progress and let me know if you encounter any sync issues.
Big hugs, Iaroslav
