Hello everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to share a small development update on Behind Closed Doors.
Over the past month, a lot of time has gone into animation work, and reaching this stage has been incredibly motivating. Chapters are being built alongside the animations rather than afterward, and the project is gradually shifting from individual pieces into a more complete, story-driven experience.
The demo is currently being developed as a vertical slice of the full game, created to properly represent its tone, visuals, and choice-driven structure. This is an exciting step for the project, as it’s the first time the game really has to stand on its own. While it comes with its own challenges, progress has been steady and the direction feels right.
Behind Closed Doors is officially registered for Steam Next Fest (February), and the current focus is on polish, stability, and presentation to make sure the demo delivers a strong first impression.
Thank you so much to everyone who has wishlisted the game and followed its development, your support genuinely means a lot and helps more than you might realize. More updates coming soon as development continues.
Best wishes, Ennushka
