Welcome to Sip Or Die
Sip Or Die is our take on psychological horror pushed into a multiplayer death‑game format. In this first Devlog, we want to introduce the scenario players are thrown into, the ritualistic room they awaken in, the mechanics that drive each round, and the core ideas shaping the experience.
A Psychological Horror Death Game
Sip Or Die centers on four kidnapped survivors forced to play for their lives. All players awaken at the same moment inside a sealed room, with no memory of how they arrived and no knowledge of each other. The night before, they were abducted by a sadistic antagonist known only as The Pigman.
The room itself feels wrong. Bathed in deep red hues, it resembles a spiritually awakened, possessed environment. A demonic face emerges from the wall itself, and it reacts as the game unfolds. This entity is The Overseer. The true master of the chamber, feeding on fear and choice.
In front of each player sits a mysterious interface with interactive buttons that determine their actions within the death game. At the center of the table is a rotating vial wheel, connected to numbered inputs on the interface. Two heart icons represent each player’s remaining lifespan.
The Pigman looms silently in the corner, responding to the commands of The Overseer, watching every move. One by one, he fills the vials on the wheel, then activates Player One’s interface as the wheel rotates into position. From there, the game proceeds in cycles, each player making decisions that affect not only themselves, but everyone else.
Choice, Chance, and Psychological Pressure
The core gameplay experience of Sip Or Die is built around high tension and turn‑based decision‑making. Four players are trapped in a possessed room and forced into cycles controlled by the in‑game interface. Each turn, the rotating vial wheel and its interactive buttons present a decision that can save a life, steal one, or end the game instantly.
Possible outcomes include:
Death by poisoned vial
Death by revolver
Death by electric chair
Gaining an extra life
Forcing another player to drink your chosen vial
Choosing another player to be shot
Losing a life
Electrocuting another player in their chair
Pigman‑controlled revolver roulette targeting another survivor
Every decision escalates tension. Trust erodes. Alliances shatter. Only one player can survive. The final survivor wins the game, claims the expensive artifact locked inside a glowing wooden cabinet, and is granted their freedom, while everyone else pays the ultimate price.
