I’ve just finished a critical feature for JINNI 2: The Ritual that will take the horror experience to the next level (and probably make you hold your breath while playing): Microphone Integration.
The game now reacts to your voice in the real world.
🔇 Silence is Survival With this new system, the "things" hiding in the darkness don’t just see you anymore—they are listening.
Voice Reactions Paranormal activity will intensify based on the noise levels coming from your microphone.
Action & Reaction A gasp of fear or a sudden scream can make the Jinns more aggressive and help them pinpoint your location.
Communication In some situations, the entities may respond directly to your spoken words or whispers.
My goal with this mechanic is to make the silence in your room a part of the gameplay. You aren't just playing with a keyboard and mouse anymore; you're playing with your nerves.
