Hello, Explorers!
Our latest update is here, and it’s a big one for both your ears and your wallet. Bill has finally stopped giving everyone the silent treatment, and we’ve completely overhauled the shopping experience to make inventory management smoother than a low-gravity jump.
🎙️ Bill Voice Overhaul (Earth & Moon)
Bill is no longer just a man of mystery—he’s a man of many words! Whether you're visiting him in the dusty plains of Earth or the craters of the Moon, Bill is now fully voiced with unique audio clips for every interaction.
The Stats
Earth Voice Lines: 13 unique clips covering quest turn-ins, completions, and 11 random idle greetings.
Moon Voice Lines: 11 unique clips including a special "First Visit" monologue, quest dialogue, and 9 random greetings.
New Dialogue Highlights
We’ve added brand-new lines to flesh out Bill’s personality:
Earth: "It ain't rocket science! Pick a button."
Earth: "You're not from around here, are you?"
Moon: "You know what I like about you, kid? You're light in zero gravity."
Change Note: On Earth, Bill has ditched the dedicated "items-not-ready" line. He’ll now hit you with a random quip if you show up empty-handed. Earth first-visit audio remains the classic version you know and love.
🛒 Shop UI Quality of Life
We’ve heard your feedback about accidental sales and confusing menus. The Sell Panel has been rebuilt for precision and clarity.
Sell Panel Improvements
Sell All Confirmation: No more "oops" moments. "Sell All" now requires a second press within 3 seconds to confirm.
Sell Selected: A new button allows you to sell only the items you’ve manually set quantities for.
Quick-Sell "S" Button: Each row now has an instant-sell button for that specific item's entire stock.
Summary Toasts: After a bulk sale, a detailed toast will pop up showing exactly what was sold and the total coins earned.
Hold-to-Increment: You can now hold down the +/− buttons to rapidly adjust quantities.
Visual Enhancements
Affordability Glow: Upgrade buttons now glow green when you can afford them and red when you're short on cash.
Rarity Color-Coding: Item names in the sell panel now reflect their rarity (Common → Rare → Legendary).
Inventory Clarity: Items you don't currently own are dimmed to 40% opacity, making it easier to see what’s actually in your bags.
Shorthand Formatting: Large numbers now use clean shorthand (e.g., 1.2K, 3.4M).
💰 Bill’s Shop: Multi-Buy & Safety Nets
Buying in bulk is now a reality. Bill’s Shop (on both Earth and the Moon) has received a dedicated functional upgrade.
Multi-Buy Buttons: Instantly purchase in stacks of x1, x5, or x10. Buttons will automatically disable if you lack the funds or inventory space.
Total Cost Previews: Hovering over any buy button displays the total gold cost directly on the item card.
High-Value Confirmation: Any purchase totaling 5,000+ coins now triggers a confirmation dialog showing the unit price breakdown.
Smarter Feedback: The game now reports exactly how many items you bought (e.g., "Purchased 5x Health Potion") and will let you know if a bulk buy was cut short due to a full inventory.
