Hey everyone,
Today we want to share a closer look at the underground gate beneath the Town Cathedral in Abyssbound.
This is not just a teleport or a transition point.
It’s the moment where the Veil begins to crack.
Hidden below the cathedral, the gate reacts to Abyss energy, flooding the chamber with violet light as the seal weakens. Standing before it is meant to feel like a threshold, a decision point between the safety of the town and the unknown descent below.
We’ve shared a short video alongside this post showing the gate in action, how the environment reacts to its activation, and the atmosphere we’re building around this space.
This is one of many locations we’ll be highlighting in our weekly Abyssbound updates, where we’ll share new environments, systems, and bits of lore as development continues.
Thanks for following the project and wishlisting the game, it truly helps more than you know.
🖤 See you below the Veil.
