Hello everyone!
Today marks the end of another major stage in the development of Chapter 3.
For the past month and a half, most of my time has been spent working on the visual side of the chapter — editing, scripting, rendering, re-rendering, post-processing... and occasionally discovering something that needed fixing, which meant doing it all over again.
But I've reached a nice milestone:
The first 2,000 images for Chapter 3 are now fully finished.
After spending this much time surrounded by renders, seeing that number feels especially satisfying.
There is still some preparatory work to complete, but I'm now very close to the next major stage:
coding the first week of Chapter 3.
This is always an important moment in development, because individual scenes finally stop being separate pieces of dialogue, images and animations and start to become an actual playable chapter.
There is still a long road ahead, of course.
But 2,000 finished images is a pretty good place to set the first milestone.
Development continues.
