We have found that there is a nasty game killing bug for the random encounter option. We have confirmed that once enabling, disabling does not work which breaks game play. We tried to fix the actual bug, however it resides in a plugin for the software we used to build the game. We are not going to make you wait for the plugin owner to fix the bug, instead, we removed that toggle option from the game. If anyone is feeling the game is a bit difficult and wishes to have lowered difficulty, let us know and we can adjust the encounters to be a bit easier.
We have also confirmed, you should not have to start a new game, the random encounters should be force enabled, and resuming save files are still playable. Please resume any save game, and continue to enjoy the game.
We apologize this fix too so long.
Thank you.
