Hello Chronomaze players!
This update is focused on visual quality, consistency, and smoother performance across devices. Chronomaze now has a more polished, premium presentation while keeping the same core gameplay feel.
What's new
Major visual upgrade for levels
Walls, hazards, player, and goal were redesigned with a cohesive premium style.
Static and dynamic levels now share a more consistent visual language.
Updated Single Level Behaviour
When selecting a single level through the menu playing through it unlocks the next level now
Each level now is marked based on a medal system based on your best run (gold, silver, bronze)
Dark/Light Theme support
Added a Dark mode toggle in Settings.
Theme now applies across menu and level presentation.
Dark mode is now the default for new players.
UI and menu polish
Main menu panels and controls were refined for better consistency in both themes.
Readability and visual hierarchy were improved across settings and panel text.
Hazard collision fairness tuning
Hazard trigger hitboxes were adjusted to better match what you see on screen.
Still keeps slight padding for fair gameplay feel.
Performance improvements (especially for low-end hardware)
Optimized maze generation and dynamic reshuffle internals to reduce GC spikes and runtime allocations.
Better frame-time stability on weaker devices (for example, 4 GB RAM laptops with integrated graphics).
No gameplay identity changes
This patch keeps Chronomaze's core mechanics and pacing intact. The focus was quality, consistency, and responsiveness.
