I Know a Guy 1.0 Arrives September 25. Things Are Getting Shadier. 🍕
Hey chefs!
You opened a pizza shop. Made some deliveries. Met a few people. Did a few favors you probably shouldn’t put on your tax return.
Now look at you.
I Know a Guy is leaving Early Access on September 25, and Hobarey Town has a whole lot more trouble waiting for you. And here it is our new trailer!
We’ve been busy working on 1.0, and today we wanted to give you a little taste of what’s cooking.
Your next “quick favor” might involve taking out security cameras, planting a listening device, or scrubbing down a crime scene. Apparently, being good at cleaning a kitchen opens some unfortunate career doors.
There are more people to meet, more jobs pulling you across town, and more reasons to take a detour on the way back to the shop. Buried secrets. Strange encounters. Someone waiting for you after dark.
We’ll let you find out who.
Business is expanding downstairs, too.
The shady side is getting new toys, a reworked Forgery Station (we did the fastest remake in history, now your turn AAA company!?!) , and an underground kitchen with some very questionable ingredients. There’s more to get your hands on through the Dark Web, and more ways to put those purchases to use.
Between all that, we’re giving the town a visual refresh and putting work into performance, smoother everyday shop life, and even better offline solo gameplay experience.
And yes, you can pet the your new dog. We understand your priorities...
Every bug report, suggestion, and story about something going horribly wrong in your shop has helped us get here.
Thank you for sticking with us through Early Access and helping shape this wonderfully questionable little town.
September 25. Get your crew together. You’ve got a business to run.
And probably something to hide.
Peace,
Bunch’o’Nerds Team
