Can't believe it's already been over a week since release. We've been swept away by the overwhelming amount of videos, livestreams, reviews and feedback we've seen from everyone. It means the world to us!
Later this week we'll share more about the future of Dark Pals: The 1st Floor, but first we want to take a moment to thank the community for their amazing response!
Content Highlights
In the first 1.5 weeks after release, we've seen hundreds of channels play the game on YouTube and Twitch. Together you've watched 100K+ hours of Dark Pals on Twitch alone, which is roughly ten times the amount it took our team to make the game. At the peak, almost 20K people were watching someone play Dark Pals, putting us in between Overwatch, Rust & PUBG. That's CRAZY!
If you enjoy watching people play Dark Pals as much as we do, keep an eye on our YouTube channel for more funny compilations and clips like this!
Got clips that deserve to be in a future compilation? Share them in the comments or on our Discord!
Win Dark Pals plushies!
We've been thinking about ways to actually thank you all for your support... THANK YOU so much ❤️
Our biggest dream is to continue with The 2nd Floor and grow our YouTube series about Dark Pals. The only way to get there is to keep growing awareness and sell more games here on Steam. And as small indie devs, we can't do that without you.
So here's the idea: make as many shorts as you can about Dark Pals and post them on YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, or X. Doesn't have to be polished. Doesn't have to be long. Whatever feels right to you. Post as many as you want. Your best-performing one counts for the contest.
1st place:
The plushie trio (Binky, Chompy & Inky), credits in the game as a Supporter, 5 Steam keys for friends or giveaways, and early access to The 2nd Floor with the option for a small cameo if you want one (zero pressure, no obligation).
2nd & 3rd place:
One plushie of choice, credits in the game as a Supporter, and 3 Steam keys for friends or giveaways.
Keep sharing your feedback, clips and love on our ever growing Discord, and don't forget to actually buy the game so we can make Episode 2!
