New Features
Knowledge fragments now drop from chests and are clearly distinct from aether. The player can collect up to 3 knowledge fragments per world.
The shop has been rebuilt and has a new visual layout.
The reward screen has been rebuilt and has a new visual layout.
Items in the shop and reward screen have their own tooltips.
The playtest version has it's own debug menu nested under the level's pause menu. All other debug-related keybinds (except F2) have been removed and the setting can be toggled through this new menu.
Changed Features
Minor tweaks to tutorial and signposts to improve the flow of the level and teach the player about the keybinds and mechanics.
A wider variety of islands appear in the main adventure, starting from the first world.
The bug report and feedback form has now been added to the main menu.
February's grab is now queued, if she's halfway through a platform when the player presses the grab.
Bugfixes
Fixed a bug where navigating the shop menu using a joypad didn't always focus the correct button based on the player's input.
Fixed a bug where the world timer was misaligned on the player's HUD.
Fixed a bug where the active checkpoint tile would play it's sound effect when the player entered it's hitbox.
Known Issues
Stability bug: the game becomes unresponsive in the loading screen while world generation runs. The loading screen is not updated.
Gameplay bug: in some worlds, the player is killed before they've reached the bottom of the world.
Gameplay bug: very rarely, the character continues grabbing even when the trigger is released.
Gameplay bug: when February is outside the world line and gains stamina past her usual maximum, the excess stamina doesn't decay.
Gameplay bug: The player can grab and then start dialogue while grabbing.
Gameplay bug: Stamina doesn't regenerate when the player is looking around using the dedicated keybind.
Visual bug: HUD doesn't resize correctly when the resolution changes and is bigger than 1920x1080px, resulting in text that is too small.
Visual bug: Keyboard keybinds are shown on the Steamdeck in the tutorial when the touchscreen is used to dismiss dialogue.
Visual bug: During the tutorial, when the the keybind for looking around is shown, it incorrectly shows the wrong keybind (only on xbox controllers).
Visual bug: Values on the world summary screen are visible by default the second time the player is shown the screen without exiting to the menu. This happens only when the player has mashed "A" through the summary screen the first time.
