— Codename “PomPom Momonga” —
The protagonist of this game is Unit 10XXX.
On the field, he is known only by his number—a mass-produced, disposable robot.
…However, he does have a codename.
That name is—“PomPom Momonga.”
And he actually likes it quite a lot.
■ Role: A Disposable Protagonist Robot
Unit 10XXX is deployed on missions under a different number each time.
When he’s destroyed, the next unit is immediately activated.
Even so, this is what he says:
“Ah, looks like this is as far as I go! I think I’ll do better next time!”
■ Personality: Unbreakably Positive
He believes that even being destroyed is part of his growth.
“That means I gained some experience, right?”
He loves new and exciting things and has a childlike curiosity.
However, he’s not very good at repetitive, monotonous tasks.
■ Speech Style: Cheerful and Straightforward
He usually speaks politely, but when he gets excited, he slips into casual speech.
“Amazing!”
“Yay!”
“Do you think this will work?”
He calls Coil and Pakka by their names,
but they usually refer to him simply as “Unit 10XXX.”
■ Codename “PomPom Momonga”
Separate from his official unit number, his codename is “PomPom Momonga.”
He’s very fond of it, and often announces:
“PomPom Momonga, deploying!”
with great enthusiasm.
■ Relationships: Devoted, but Oblivious
Coil is calm and sarcastic.
Pakka is cheerful and talkative.
Unit 10XXX genuinely looks up to both of them.
That said—
he almost never understands Coil’s sarcasm.
■ Developer’s Note
The name “PomPom Momonga” represents the contrast between a cold, disposable unit
and a protagonist full of emotion and optimism.
No matter how many times he fails or breaks, there’s always a next attempt.
The most positive one on the battlefield is always Unit 10XXX.
