The Fight Like a Chicken demo is live – and it just got better.
After hearing from early players, I've already shipped improvements:
WHAT'S NEW:
- Rematch system – Jump back into any fight without replaying earlier ones
- Expanded tutorials – Clearer guidance on timing mechanics and defensive options
WHAT'S IN THE DEMO:
- 3 story fights – from tutorial to tank to pure aggression
- 1 bonus fight – unlocks after completing the demo
- 20-25 minutes of hand-drawn, timing-based combat
You play as Benny Bantam Jr., a young rooster searching for his missing father, fighting his way through the criminal underground. Every frame is hand-drawn by one person. This is a love letter to Punch-Out!! – a genre that's been dormant since 2009.
Your feedback is shaping this game. Try the demo, let me know what you think, and wishlist if you want to see where Benny's story goes.
Steam Next Fest starts February 23rd. See you in the ring.
