Highguard, the newest PvP raid-shooter from developers Wildlight Entertainment, has gotten a massive new content patch.
Highguard has gone through a rough release cycle, and with it being the last trailer shown at the Game Awards, people had high expectations for the game. Wildlight is attempting to satisfy those expectations with this new patch. First of all, there is now a brand new base included in the patch/update called Cloudreach.
Soaring above the ground is a docked airship, which is a surprisingly tactical advantage to have, as snipers can make easy work of any other player daring enough to get close. If players do get close, however, the combat quickly turns to close-range combat. Vents located throughout the base will give defenders the chance to throw grenades down the shafts to flush out any attackers.
