Hello Puzzle Solvers,
The fifth update for Case Solved: The London Files is now live.
Like the ones before it, every change here comes straight from what you reported, so thank you. Your reports made this patch possible.
Fixed in v1.1.1
Options menu: selecting a resolution no longer permanently freezes the game.
Classified/Secret Files: the game no longer softlocks if you switch to another app and back while Classified is open.
Classified/Secret Files: the background no longer scrolls along with the secret cases grid.
Classified/Secret Files: the confirm button no longer gets stuck if you close and reopen the game with the board already filled in.
Deduction board: the hint button works again even when every slot on the board is filled in.
Deduction board: text stays translated across the whole board after you change language.
Deduction board: the empty-slot ellipsis no longer appears crossed out in other dropdowns.
Case 2: starting the cutscene no longer causes a crash when the stage loads.
Settings: changes are now saved even if you close the game from the taskbar instead of the in-game menu.
Classified/Secret Files: the gamepad button glyph is now shown on the exit button.
Quality of life
Settings: added a "Reset save" option with a confirmation popup.
Steam Deck: the game boots faster, and switching between Options and the main menu is smoother.
