Hello Puzzle Solvers,
The third update for Case Solved: The London Files is now live.
Like the ones before it, every fix here comes straight from what you reported, so thank you. Your reports made this patch possible.
Fixed in v1.0.3
4:3 resolutions: the game no longer freezes at these resolutions.
Controller: navigating menus and screens with a controller is smoother across the game.
Dialogue: stage dialogue no longer appears over the Pause Menu or on screens like Classified/Secret Files.
Completion screen: Enter and the other inputs now take you to the next stage or back to case selection.
Portraits: suspect portraits no longer disappear if you leave Stage 1 before finishing it.
Deduction board: the fifth category now uses a color that is easier to tell apart.
Hints: a value filled in by a hint now appears crossed out in the other dropdowns on the same row.
Case 2: Last Act, Stage 3: clues are no longer marked as correct while the board is filled in wrong.
Case 2: Last Act, Stage 4: in the final cutscene, every line is now spoken by the right character.
Case 3: Stolen Time, Stage 1: the "day off" line has been rewritten in English.
Case 3: Stolen Time, Stages 4 and 5: the police no longer repeat the cat line.
Classified/Secret Files: clues that were not being accepted with a correct board are now recognized properly.
Report a Bug: the button no longer covers the Classified/Secret Files, and no longer shows up when it shouldn't.
Known issues
We are also aware of the issues below. They come straight from what you have reported in the community and through the bug report form, and every one of them is logged. We are prioritizing and working through this list. If you run into something that is not on here, please tell us:
Secret cases: some clues can fail to validate. This does not stop you from completing the case, and a fix is on the way.
4:3 resolutions: some screens do not scale correctly.
Classified/Secret Files: controller navigation does not behave correctly at some resolutions.
Found a bug? Got a suggestion?
Same two places as always:
Thoughts, suggestions, criticism: drop them in our feedback thread: Share your thoughts & feedback here!
Bugs and technical issues: send them straight through our bug report form: playcasesolved.com/bug-report
For bugs, telling us what you were doing and (if you can) attaching a screenshot makes a big difference in how fast we can fix it.
We keep reading everything, and more fixes and improvements are already in the works. As always, we will post here when the next update is ready.
And if you're enjoying the game, leaving a review helps a small studio like ours a lot.
Thank you again for all your support.
Happy solving,
Minimol Games
