Can music change your life? "One Song, One Life" is a game where you "perform a life."
Do you have an experience where you can say, "Music changed my life!"? Whether you have or haven't, "One Song, One Life" (OSOL) was created as a game we want everyone to "perform."
In "One Song, One Life," you take the perspective of a third-party "Player," guiding Sumire—a young girl aspiring to be a net artist—through her journey with music. In other words, your performance will change Sumire's life.
Here are the highlights of this title, which blends the thrill of a rhythm game with a branching adventure story.
Guide Sumire, a Girl Aspiring to be a Net Artist
The protagonist is 19-year-old Sumire Kirishima. We call her Sumire-chan. (We hope you'll come to love and root for "Sumire-chan" too!)
Living in Tokyo, she one day watches a live video of her "Oshi" (favorite artist) and dreams of standing on that same stage. She begins her journey as a "net artist" (online singer). However, behind the world of dreams and admiration lie setbacks, temptations, and inner conflicts.
Crucially, the Player is NOT Sumire herself. You exist as a presence by her side, guiding her by performing the music that defines her journey.
It’s Not Just the Story That Branches in the Rhythm Game
The core gameplay is a rhythm game where you tap notes in time with the music. *Images are from a work in progress.
By successfully performing, players rack up scores and progress through stages. With intuitive and simple controls, the game is designed to be enjoyable for both rhythm game beginners and veterans alike.
A major feature of this game is the presence of "Choice Notes" during the performance.

During a song, special "Choice Notes" will appear. Depending on which note you choose to play, Sumire's life (the story) will change. We invite you to perform the many different lives Sumire might lead.

And it’s not just the story that branches—the music changes too. As Sumire's life takes a new turn, so does the song she sings. What emotions will stir in your heart as the music and story evolve? Please discover the answer to the question: "Can music change your life?"
One Song = One Life
The title "One Song, One Life" carries the literal meaning that "life is a single song." The notes you hit change Sumire’s life, and the music transforms to match that life. Please enjoy the experience of guiding Sumire's destiny through your performance.
"One Song, One Life" is scheduled for release in Spring 2026. Please look forward to it!
*Game streaming and let's plays are more than welcome! Monetization is also OK. If you do stream, we would appreciate it if you could include the Steam URL for "One Song, One Life" in your description. If that’s difficult, a simple mention during your broadcast would be wonderful.
