Space adventurers,
Thank you for your continued passion for Rivage and extensive feedback on the demo. We have an important announcement to make: we have decided to move the release date of Rivage to September 22nd 2026.
For us, being a two-people development team, your involvement is a very serious matter and we treat it with great respect and attention. As the workload increased drastically in the past month, we still remember your contribution to this project in its early days. It is due to your consistent and fair remarks that we have decided to take some more time to improve several gameplay aspects, especially User Experience and Quality of Life.
The Rivage’s gold master we have been preparing for the release is stable and polished in terms of the technical performance. However, we did notice that player experience needs improvement at a few targeted places. We are committed to bringing you the best game experience possible. This would not be feasible, if we kept our initial release date in August.
This was not an easy decision for us to make as this also means we will be facing harsher competition. However, the quality of the game is more important because we really want it to succeed! The release date has therefore been moved to September 22, 2026.
If you have not played the demo and submitted your feedback yet, we’re encouraging you to do so! And if you are looking for more information and a place to share your feedback, join us on Discord here.
In the coming weeks, our social channels will also feature more info about the game and its development, so tune in at links below to join the conversations!
From the bottom of our hearts, we value your understanding and are looking forward to seeing you aboard A.R.E.S. on September 22!
