The development of Blood of the North is moving forward, and in this dev vlog we’re sharing a look at our current progress.
Right now, the focus is on gameplay systems and level design. We’re actively developing the character progression system, where players collect souls and use them to upgrade their character.
In the video, you can see how souls are gathered during gameplay and how the upgrade panel appears, offering different upgrade choices.
We also continue working on character abilities, with a focus on their structure and how they interact within combat. In parallel, we are developing enemies, expanding their variety, balancing their behavior, refining their visual appearance, and defining their abilities.
In addition, this update includes a first look at our levels and environments. The dev vlog features in-game footage and screenshots of the maps, giving an early glimpse of the world you’ll explore.
This is still an early stage, but we’re excited to start showing real gameplay progress. More updates are coming soon as Blood of the North continues to evolve.
