The X-Morph harvester core is protected by a powerful kinetic shield that deflects all incoming enemy fire. However its strength is limited and it will eventually break down under heavy fire. The core can be upgraded with a defensive shockwave capability that destroys most enemies in the core's vicinity. After installing the upgrade, the shockwave is triggered when core health drops to 75%, 50% and 25% giving you three additional chances to clean up any attackers.
We'll be talking more about other upgrades in our future updates. Please let us know in the comments below if there is any aspect of the game that you would like us to talk about in more detail.
