Welcome to the v0.5.2 Expansion Update for Alien Attorney Adventure! This massive update shifts the game into high gear with a completely overhauled PC-first interface, three massive new content expansions, and deep stability fixes.
What's New
The "War Room" PC Dashboard
We heard your feedback: managing a legal empire on a tiny mobile-style screen was frustrating.
The Dashboard: The entire UI has been ripped out and replaced with a sprawling, 3-column "War Room" grid built for widescreen monitors.
Persistent HUD: Your Trust Ledger, 3-Day Court Calendar, and character stats are now pinned to the screen—no more menu diving to check your schedule!
Keyboard Shortcuts: Every dialogue choice can now be instantly selected using the 1-9 keys. Fast-talking your way out of contempt has never been more efficient.
Three New Content Expansion Packs
Prepare to face your most challenging clients yet. We've introduced three massive new case profiles that will push your legal knowledge—and patience—to the limit.
1. Viral Media Expansion
Defend Kyxo Vane, an internet prankster whose latest mall stunt resulted in a reckless endangerment charge.
The Catch: Huge payouts, but surviving the media frenzy requires spinning the narrative.
New Challenges: Deal with chanting fan mobs outside the courthouse and highly prejudicial direct messages leaking mid-trial.
New Skill: Unlock the "Spin Doctor" perk to turn PR disasters into narrative momentum.
2. Corporate Shadows Expansion
Take on Silas Thorne, a disgraced BioVantis CFO accused of a $50 million embezzlement scheme.
The Catch: High-stakes white-collar crime involving massive bribes and "shadow board" crypto funding.
New Challenges: Survive sudden SEC discovery raids that threaten your entire defense strategy.
New Skill: Unlock "Dark Money" to perform high-risk trust account transfers.
3. Constitutional Crisis Expansion
Represent Zebediah "Free" Mann, a sovereign citizen who rejects the court's jurisdiction entirely. (Good luck.)
The Catch: High burnout drain. Expect circuitous arguments and paper terrorism that stalls the trial.
New Challenges: Navigate arguments over maritime law, "Gold Fringe Flags", and bizarre fee schedules.
New Skill: Unlock the "Filibuster" perk to waste the prosecution's time and recover from burnout.
Gameplay Improvements & Bug Fixes
Sentencing Realism: We tore out the old mock-math sentencing logic. The judge now sentences convicted clients using a strict, 1:1 implementation of the real-world Washington State SRA (Sentencing Reform Act) Grid.
Courtroom Chaos System: Trials are no longer static. Every ~25 seconds, the Trial Engine rolls for narrative disruptions based on your Momentum and the Judge's patience.
Sua Sponte Mistrials: Pushing an angry judge too far will now trigger a catastrophic Sua Sponte mistrial—you've been warned!
Domain Stability: Squashed over 100 deep-engine type errors related to how witnesses and client records are stored. E2E tests are now fully passing.
UI Fallbacks: Characters missing portraits will now correctly default to a standard silhouette rather than crashing the investigation screen.
