Player Customization is coming to "Guardians of Orion" with Version 1.4 - coming April 2016!
With the first iterations you will be able to obtain items like Armor Shaders and Hats, as well as having the ability to remove your Helmet. We will continually add to these areas, with upcoming features like Weapon Skins, Dinosaur Skins, Taunts, Player Pets and more!
