( VERSION 1.6.0 PREVIEW BUILD )
We recently released a preview version of 1.6.0 to gain additional feedback and information pertaining to what is the largest content update to the game yet! Thanks to all who participated and submitted feedback as this helped us squash many issues before the big debut.

We had a few issues arise once going public and the biggest two issues related to the Automatic Shotgun (server crashing bug) and another issue related to Inventory/Slots.
( INVENTORY REPAIR )
To repair the crafting/resource issue we are expecting to do an ION bonus to all users who played during that period. This will be applied in the full release of v1.6.0 coming in the first week of September 2016.

This is integrated and ready. We are only waiting on one change from Steams end and when applied these will redeem in your 1.6.0 game build.
( SOME RECENT CHANGES )
Initially were were going to delay the F2P edition to coincide with Version 1.7 in September 2016 once the 1.6.0p issues started to appear. This would allow us to further polish and even add new content (Guardian, Dino, Weapon, etc) to celebrate.
However we were recently contacted by one of our development partners stating that our back end services were going to cost more going forward. They are doing this towards all of their clients as they referenced they need to make their business more efficient.
In addition to the price hike it appears that many aspects of how things will work will be changing or modified and have a new cost associated. This was unexpected on our end and affects some of our immediate plans greatly. Notably the F2P edition. I am OK with a little risk, but not risk in every direction and there are too many variables that are now unknown.
( F2P EDITION CANCELLED )
As of this update the F2P edition of The Orion Project is cancelled until further notice as we will need to re-evaluate not only our partner, but the backend itself as well as look into other options to ensure these types of surprises and changes don't happen in the future.
( PIONEER STATUS / ELITE STATUS + ION )
If you had an issue with not receiving ION from from a Pioneer Status transaction this will be resolved in the 1.6.0 update in Sept 2016. If you have an issue with Elite ION this will be resolved in August 2016.
