Hi bikepackers!
Bikepacking Simulator Playtest will be live from February 13 until February 20. After that, a Demo will be released during Steam Next Fest. Demo will be a few more content than Playtest.
Some features you can try in the Playtest are the following:
Interact with your bike with the following keys:
E: Enter/Exit bike
C: Third/First person camera
SHIFT: Sprint mode
L: Toggle between rear light, rear and front light and switch off all lights
M: Turn on/off radio
RIGHT CTRL: Enable/Disable bike suspension
Buy items at bike store to start your bikepacking adventure
Buy supplies to eat and drink at gas station
Manage bike inventory: pressing TAB key you can enter/exit the inventory
Manage a limited budget: you start with a small budget for your bikepacking adventure, but you can use ATMs to grab money from your bank account if needed. You can use ATMS pressing E key and exit with TAB key.
Crafting items from the ground like apples or wood
Place a tent, sleeping bag, folding chair and gas stove to set a spot for resting at nights: drop the items you want to place in a quick slot and then press the number of your quickslot and build mode will be enabled to place the item wherever you want.
Sleep in the camping tent or do vivac sleeping outdoors on your sleeping bag: once you place the tent or sleeping bag you can sleep pressing F key.
Fly a drone: if you get a drone you can fly it placing it on the ground using the quick slots. Once placed on the ground you can fly it pressing F key. Drone controls are the following:
C: Third/First person camera
WASD: Movement
SPACE: Up
CTRL: Down
LEFT ALT: Place drone on the ground
SHIFT: Sprint mode
E: Switch to character
Y: Switch to dorne
N: Night vision (only in First Person camera)
LEFT MOUSE: Zoom in/out (only in First Person camera)
