Hello everyone! In this thread I’d like to share more details about the development of Shake It: Lycoris. I’ve been working on this game since the beginning of 2025, putting all my time and energy into finishing it. The whole development is streamed live on Twitch, so you can drop by anytime and take a peek at the progress.
I’ve always dreamed of owning a small bar — something straight out of a Murakami novel, inspired by Japan. A tiny space for 4–6 people, quiet jazz, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly customers. But as you can imagine, making such a (non-profitable) dream come true in real life is nearly impossible. So I decided to bring it to life in the form of a game ^^
In this project I wear almost every hat myself: game design, programming, animation, UX/UI, and more. However, all the characters will be illustrated by different artists.
Also, Shake It: Lycoris is looking for many artists willing to draw a single character for the game — you can find more details in the dedicated on steam discussions
Join our community on Telegram — here you can follow smaller news about the game, get stream announcements, and simply chat with the community.
We will also actively support discussions on the Steam page, so feel free to create topics, ask questions, and share advice.
