Hi, everyone!
I'm happy to finally announce that the demo version of True Nightmare: Diner Loop will be available on August 7th.
As I mentioned earlier, I’ve taken a much more thorough approach to this release, and the very first version will be stable and user-friendly.
I still plan to expand its content over time, but I’d love to hear your feedback right now and hope you have a great time playing the game!
Some interesting points:
- The demo takes about 20 minutes to complete, but given the unique nature of the Loop genre, playtime may vary from player to player.
- The VHS effect now adapts to the screen resolution, which prevents it from being too intense at lower resolutions. I’ve also moved its settings to a separate section in the options menu.
- I stopped reinventing the wheel with a custom localization system and simply used existing solutions. Now, translations are even easier to create. There won’t be any issues like there were with the Roadside Cafe release.
- I’m still polishing and adding to certain aspects based on tester feedback, which I’ll continue to do right up until the release on Friday.
A huge thank you to everyone for your support - see you in a week!
- Denis
