✨ Highlights
This is one of our biggest alpha updates yet — a sweeping round of lifespan balancing, genetic color variety, smoother play, and playful creature fixes.
It’s all live now. Expect a few quirks as the systems settle, but your world will feel richer, steadier, and more alive than ever. 💚
⏳ Lifespan Overhaul
Neeblie lifecycles are now balanced around a single intuitive control that keeps every stage — growth, reproduction, rest — in harmony.
Populations age more naturally and stay consistent across generations.
You can feel the rhythm of your colony’s life: fast and lively, slow and serene, or anything between.
The passage of time finally feels right.
🌈 More Colors, More Life
The world just got a lot more vibrant.
Dramatic color mutations now appear across generations — expect bold shifts and rare throwback hues.
Cross-color pairings spread diversity across the beds: blues meeting purples, greens meeting yellows.
Mature colonies now have a higher probability to bloom into entire rainbows instead of blending into sameness.
Every generation paints the glass a little differently.
🧸 Toy Behavior Refined
Playtime feels smoother and more natural:
Sparkles juke, wobble, and shimmer as Neeblies chase them.
Catching a Sparkle now gives an instant wellness boost — food, thirst, energy, and mood restored.
Leaves bump gently, Pebbles roll realistically, and colonies look more joyful in motion.
🎮 Smoother Play Everywhere
Camera zoom and panning are finally buttery-smooth at all scales.
Neeblies animate consistently whether you’re zoomed in close or managing from afar.
Menus and save screens have been cleaned up for clarity and reliability.
💾 Performance & Stability
Behind the glass, the simulation has been rebuilt for speed:
Core fertility and migration systems optimized for noticeably higher framerates, especially in large colonies.
Safer, smarter save logic protects against rare data-loss cases.
Pausing and exiting the game now feels instant and dependable.
🧬 In Short
Build 709 is about flow: smoother motion, steadier lifecycles, brighter genetics, and smarter behaviors.
Your Neeblies live longer, play harder, and shimmer in more colors than ever.
It’s still early — there will be bugs — but this is the Neeblarium’s most vibrant moment yet. 🌿💚
