Our “Fertility Zones” have officially blossomed into 🌸 Florin Beds — a cozier, more organic reflection of what they really are: gentle patches of life-giving Florin where Neeblies thrive.
You’ll now see Florin Beds, Florin Drops, and related tooltips throughout the UI.
✨ New — Smart Auto-Spawn
The Auto-Spawn button now adapts to your world’s state automatically:
No Florin Beds yet? The button shows a Florin Drop icon and a label like “Create 2 Beds.” Clicking it will plant up to two Florin Beds using your Florin Drops — perfect for brand-new worlds.
Beds already placed? The icon switches to an Egg, showing how many eggs will be laid across your beds.
Tooltips always match the current mode and count, so you’ll know exactly what will happen before you click.
Tip: Starting from bare Substra? Hit Auto-Spawn to seed beds, then again to hatch life. Cozy creation in a couple clicks.
🌱 World Start — Now Starts with “Zero Beds”
You can now begin completely from scratch — no Florin Beds required.
Worlds initialize cleanly even at zero beds.
No stray resources appear until you’ve established growth zones.
Auto-Spawn provides a simple bootstrap: up to two Florin Beds, placed sensibly within your world bounds.
🎥 Camera & Zoom Polish
The camera now starts centered — no more quick pan from the corner.
Zoom anchors to your mouse, letting you dive into the details.
Camera bounds and zoom levels are auto-clamped so the terrarium always fits neatly.
Centering feels instant thanks to a quick snap-and-smooth blend.
🖱️ UI/UX — Cleaner, Smarter Updates
The Auto-Spawn button now reacts only when something actually changes:
Florin Drop inventory
Egg inventory
Beds added or removed
Immediately after spawning
No more constant refreshes = cleaner performance and smoother visuals.
🧸 Stability & Performance
Fixed a rare crash in ToyManager when finding the nearest toys. The spatial grid now safely skips freed toy instances and stays self-healing.
🪶 Small Notes
Fireflies now gently drift with the camera — meant to feel like they’re floating around you. Prefer them scattered world-wide? Switch Firefly Manager to “World Bounds” mode (no code change required).

Start a new world (or load your save).
If you have 0 Florin Beds, click Auto-Spawn → beds bloom.
Click Auto-Spawn again → eggs scatter and hatch.
Zoom where your mouse points; explore, observe, and unwind.
