Major Gameplay Update
This weekend’s update is a big mechanical step forward for Tomo Jam, focused on making songs clearer to read, more expressive to play, and easier to tailor to your personal rhythm preferences.
A lot of this came directly from player feedback - thank you for that!
New End-of-Song Stats & Scoring
Added a detailed end-of-song stats screen
Breakdown of Perfect / Good / Bad / Miss notes
New traditional arcade-style score for single-player
Percentage-based scoring remains unchanged for local co-op
Solo play now gives much deeper performance feedback, while couch play stays relaxed and friendly.

Button Color Customization
Customize the colors of displayed buttons
Improves accessibility, readability, and personal comfort
More customization options planned over time

Normalized Scroll Speed
This was a commonly requested feature.
Optional Normalized Scroll Speed setting
Keeps note scroll speed consistent across different BPMs
High-BPM songs no longer feel visually rushed compared to slower tracks
If you’ve ever felt that faster songs were harder to read just because of speed, this setting should help a lot.
BPM-Aware Ornamentation
Another optional gameplay setting designed to improve readability and playability:
Songs above 89 BPM will automatically ornament 16th notes
Helps avoid note densities that are nearly impossible to play cleanly
Can be disabled if you prefer the original, unmodified difficulty
This keeps fast songs expressive without turning them into unreadable walls of notes.
Original: 130 BPM song with extremely fast 16th note section

Toggled on: same section extremely fast section combined into a single hold
Thank You
Thank you to everyone who’s been playing Tomo Jam and sharing feedback - it’s directly shaping how the game evolves.
Thanks for jamming 🎶
