I’m excited to officially announce that Tomo Jam launches in Early Access on January 16.
To go along with the date reveal, a new launch date trailer is now live, showcasing how the game plays today and what to expect at launch.
What is Tomo Jam?
Tomo Jam is a rhythm game where your controller is the instrument.
Your inputs directly shape the music, letting you play notes, hold phrases, improvise when the music opens up, and tackle dense musical passages that are designed to stay playable.
Highlights
Multiple difficulties, from beginner-friendly to highly expressive play
Improv sections that let you freely jam
Ornament notes that make fast, complex passages playable
Local multiplayer for up to 4 players
Drag-and-drop custom MIDI support
A free demo is available now, and it continues to receive updates as features are refined ahead of Early Access.
Thank you to everyone who has tried the demo, shared feedback, or followed development so far. I’m excited to finally put a date on it and keep building from here.
