Hello fishers :)!
Update 0.3.24 live
This update mainly adds player storage, item renaming and item history. I'm currently focusing on some core systems like these that will be important to work for Early Access and make a lot of sense to fish-battle test now.
Storage
Close to each shop is a big storage chest. Interact with it to open your global storage.
Storage starts out with 2 storage tabs (max 8) and 70 slots each (max 350 each). Both can be upgraded and the tabs can be renamed.
With storage open there are new context menu options for: Storing, taking and storing all / taking all.
You can shift-click items to quickly move them over to storage / inventory.
You can't do any use / learn / equip context commands for items in storage.
Item renaming & history
The shop has a new item: Scribeseal. You can use it to rename any non-stacking item, by dragging the item into the popup window. You can reset the item name by renaming a named item to an empty name.
If an item has been renamed in any way, it will get a new context action "History". This will show the last 20 changes on any item. This currently only includes the renaming actions. Very soon it will also show if this item was sent to you by another player via mail.
Other
Fixed: "Turn In Place" now works properly
Some small fixes like the "Owned" checkmark not showing up if that item is in the hotbar
Additional fixes from the public test
Fixed: Scribeseal not updating its state in hotbar after usage
Fixed: If a storage tab name is too long it will now get shortened. If it gets shortened, it shows the name as tooltip when hovering the storage tab. Also increased the amount of characters that can be used.
Fixed: Shift + right-click won't scroll the inventory / storage anymore
Fixed: When filtering before using "Take All" or "Store All" it will now only move the filtered items
Update 0.3.25 live
Enabled the spin from the public test again. When pressing "Turn in Place" multiple times you can start spinning. Time it right for a high jump, go too fast and spin out! (This spin feature is subject to change)
Much love, Saia <3
