— WELCOME TO THE CONQUEROR’S PATH —
Welcome to all who have embarked on the Conqueror’s Path. I am Danred Dante Helknight, game director of the indie studio Hellknights. The developers of The Witcher 3, God of War, and DOOM saved my life, and since then I have vowed to dedicate it to creating truly alive characters and extraordinary worlds that can inspire and save others, giving them indescribable emotions. Thanks to them, I discovered my life’s ultimate purpose and have spent six years creating a high-quality video game worthy of the title “Game of the Year.”
As a result of the six-year evolution of the scenario of the role-playing action/RPG video game Helgnar The Conqueror, 4 new revolutionary mechanics of “Realistic Connections" have been created. Well-tuned role-playing mechanics will give players the full range of emotions, bring characters to life to the maximum, revolutionize Action-RPGs, give storytelling video games a second wind, inspire a new generation of developers and demonstrate undiscovered potential. Because of the oversupply of game services, I feared for the future of story-driven video games and created many mechanics vital for the industry.
Revolutionary new 4 mechanics of “Realistic Connections”: [[/p]
— Hellknights’ core goal is to create a high-quality “Game of the Year” for fans, capable of standing alongside The Witcher 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Baldur’s Gate 3, and thanks to the new revolutionary mechanics, surpass these masterpieces in many aspects. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 clearly demonstrated that truly high-quality games can be made even on a minimal budget. Everything depends on smart pre-production, a clear vision from the game designer, the team’s hard work, and sheer willpower.
— The Conqueror is most inspired by The Witcher 3 and God of War — games that from the start set an exceptionally high bar for narrative quality and depth of gameplay.
About the new videogame: [[/p]
— The game features a well-balanced combination of brutal conquest-driven action and hunting invincible monsters, an emotional multi-layered narrative, and close relationships with characters. Thanks to innovative mechanics, companions truly come to life before your eyes during the journey and deliver a new, indescribable experience.
— The Conqueror is being created with a special focus on a deep, multi-layered narrative, cinematic presentation, and truly revolutionary new RPG mechanics.
— The game is dedicated to choices and their consequences. Every decision affects events here and now, and over time, its delayed — sometimes fatal — repercussions return to you. These consequences impact not only the world and the fates of countless people, but also transform the key characters themselves — beyond recognition. The new mechanics truly bring characters to life and allow players to experience the full spectrum of emotions.
— In fact, players can expect far more hidden and new mechanics, including multi-layered systems with long-term dual consequences. Many unannounced mechanics have been intentionally kept secret, so they can catch you by surprise — and you will discover them personally during your playthrough.
— The ruthless Warworld is a truly extraordinary setting, where higher entities deliberately restrain technological progress in order to survive. Warworld is realistic and logical: all life here is shaped by evolution. Its history is built on the paradoxes of evolution and progress, where the driving forces become deadly viruses, global epidemics, and genetic transformations.
— The 4,000-page scenario, including the new mechanics and its own coherent mythology of the “Infinite War of Worlds,” is fully completed.
— The game is primarily being developed by its creator, Danred Helknight, using his own modest resources, with the support of a small team of passionate enthusiasts united by a shared vision and love for the genre, contributing on weekends. This is why, at this decisive moment for the game, your support is especially important to us.
— The game is already 50% complete, with all key elements implemented. Everything a team of a few people could accomplish has been done over six years, but to move to the next stage we desperately need partners, investors, like-minded supporters, and enthusiasts who aim to elevate story-driven video games to a new level and unlock their incredible potential. Any and all help greatly contributes and accelerates development.
— Change absolutely everything — or burn this Ruthless Warworld to the ground!
— Helgnar The Conqueror will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Wishlist now.
This is only the beginning. Much more is ahead. Thank you for your support, and welcome to the Path of the Conqueror.
