Game launch;
Oh yeah, the game is out!
Mini post-mortem;
It’s interesting really, normally I start making one thing, but end up making something else that I don’t really like. This time I managed to make what I planned on, but I’m still disappointed and I don’t think I like it. Bad execution? Not a great idea to begin with? Possibly. Not enough playtesting? Definitely. Is it maybe kinda okay but I’m just sick of playing it? Probably.
There are times when I think it works, you see that speedy missile guy slipping past and it’s just too far away, then your buddy swoops in and blows it out of the air. Most things are fun with friends.
Anyways, making games is enjoyable. You should try it.
Oh, 189 days if anyone is curious. 40~ being "fulltime".
Roadmap;
There are a few things I wasn't able to finish before launch, I'll be hacking away at them for the upcoming weeks. Mainly a rabbit stage-play showing the backstory to how we got here, and some post-game gameplay content. I have a few ideas, hopefully one of them is good.
Anyways, have a great day!
