In Minecart Town, a board game for 1-4 players, you will lead a group of settlers who have ventured into untamed lands in search of a safe and prosperous home.
Surrounded by raw resources, it's up to you to turn this barren land into a thriving city with a bustling transportation network!
The primary goal of the game
Is to earn the most victory points by skillfully managing resources, constructing buildings, and laying down railways to transport valuable minerals. Every decision is a step towards building an even more productive supply chain. Over the course of 4 rounds, your small settlement can blossom into a bustling town!
Key Features:
Unique city-building mechanics: Construct buildings that will generate the resources you need and connect them with railroads. Efficient transportation planning is the key to success!
Efficiency is everything: You’ll need to carefully allocate limited resources and plan each move to maximize your efficiency. Will you focus on building new structures, or improve your existing transport routes?
Endless combinations: With 78 unique building tiles, no two games will be the same. Showcase your strategic brilliance by creating clever combinations and optimizing resource flow!
Fast-paced gameplay: Most actions take place simultaneously, keeping the game fast and engaging. Plan ahead and race toward victory!
Each round consists of several phases:
- Resource production: Your buildings generate vital resources like wood, stone, coal, and more.
- Construction: Use your resources to build new structures and expand your settlement.
- Railway planning: Design rail routes to link your buildings and ensure resource delivery.
- Resource transportation: Without proper rail connections, resources cannot be transported between buildings.
- Resource processing: Move resources along your railways to convert them into victory points.
In Minecart Town, planning is everything.
Each round brings you closer to the final phase, where your transportation and production system will run at full capacity.
By the end, you'll witness the exciting payoff of a well-executed plan, with chain reactions of efficient deliveries leading to victory.
