Welcome to Rival Restaurants!
Where the sizzling excitement of culinary competition meets the thrill of high-stakes strategy!
This isn’t just a board game; it’s your chance to step into the spotlight and transform your culinary dreams into a reality. In this electrifying showdown, you’ll manage a bustling restaurant, face off against rival chefs, and navigate a dynamic culinary landscape.
Are you ready to rise to the challenge and turn your restaurant into the city's most coveted dining destination?
Objective: Claim the Title of "The Wiener"
In Rival Restaurants, your ultimate goal is to be the first to earn 20 popularity points and be crowned “The Wiener!” Achieve this by acquiring and trading ingredients to complete mouthwatering recipes. The more complex and sophisticated the recipe, the more points it’s worth.
Your journey unfolds across three action-packed phases each day:
MONEY & MOVE: Start each day by collecting your income and strategically choosing your location. Once you’ve made your choice, you’re set for the day, so select wisely. This phase sets the stage for your day’s decisions, so plan your moves with precision.
BUY & BARTER: With a minute on the clock, buy as many ingredients as you can from your current location and trade with other players. This phase is where your negotiation skills shine – secure the best deals and build a stockpile of essential ingredients to create winning recipes.
COOK & COUNTER: If you’ve gathered all the ingredients needed for your recipe, it’s time to cook and earn those valuable popularity points. After cooking, restock the counters and prepare for the next round of culinary action.
Unleash Your Chef’s Unique Power
Every player commands a unique chef, each equipped with their own special powers.
These asymmetrical abilities allow you to bend the rules and gain a competitive edge.
With twelve distinct chefs to choose from, you’ll find strategies and tactics that fit your playstyle. At the start of the game, select from a variety of restaurants, each offering a unique progression path with special rewards for reaching popularity milestones of 3, 7, and 12 points.
Enhance your strategy further by acquiring action cards – powerful, one-time-use cards that can turn the tide of the game.
