Hi, everyone!
This is Julian from DigiTales. As another summer of festivals, showcases, and once-in-a-lifetime natural disasters draws to a close, we want to say thank you for wishlisting From Ruins, and for playing the gamescom demo.
Plus, we're happy to announce that From Ruins has been selected to take part in AdventureX in London this November, and in the Prismatic Indie Showcase starting here on Steam tonight!

35,000 wishlists 🎉
As the old saying goes, a terribly compressed gif says more than 1,000 words:

Since we made this asset just prior to gamescom, From Ruins has actually amassed another 5k wishlists, bringing the total up to 35,000!
Thank you all so much for your trust and support. We will not let you down, as From Ruins is already our most polished and meticulously designed game – even though it's still far away from release.

gamescom 2026 review
We hope that the numerous players of our gamescom build can attest to that. From what we could tell watching people play and talking to them afterwards, the overall public impression was very positive.
Many even managed to beat the case at the treehouse and got their hands on one of our limited From Ruins key chains. Thank you for playing to everyone who stopped by!

AdventureX 2026
It will be a while until the demo comes to Steam, since we don't want to release it too far away from the game itself. However, we will bring it to more festivals around the globe in the meantime – with AdventureX next in line! Tickets seem to still be available, but they usually go fast. We hope to see you in London this November.

Prismatic Indie Showcase
Last but not least, we want to thank Blue Ridge Games for selecting From Ruins to be part of their Prismatic Indie Showcase, which is about to kick off here on Steam! It's a fine selection of hand-picked titles across genres, all of which are self-published or looking for a publisher. Check it out and see if it's got something for you – maybe you'll even want to become a publisher yourself.

On that note, our first publishing venture The Great Sassanelli by Forking Paths Gardening is finally coming out in Q4! Right this way in case you haven't wishlisted it yet:

All the best from DigiTales HQ,
Julian
