WELCOME TO THE UNDERGROUND
Infinity Rising Development Update 0.4.2H
Something is happening beneath Calido.
Hidden below the city is another side of Infinity Rising — a world of outlaw culture, underground competition, illegal racing, nightlife, and the growing influence of the Black Crowne Syndicate.
With development build 0.4.2H now live for our current testing community, the Underground is beginning to take shape.
And this is only the beginning.
If you're discovering Infinity Rising for the first time, wishlist the game on Steam and follow our journey toward Alpha.
WELCOME TO CALIDO UNDERGROUND
Not everything in Infinity Rising happens above ground.
Players can now uncover a hidden quest that leads beneath Calido and into territory controlled by Silas Crowne and the Black Crowne Syndicate.
Calido Underground is being built as a very different side of the world.
Outlaw culture.
Illegal racing.
Underground nightlife.
Competitive games.
And eventually, some of the most dangerous PvP experiences in Infinity Rising.
The Underground gives us a place to explore the darker corners of the world — and the people and factions operating outside its normal rules.
Welcome to Crowne territory.

ENTER THE CROWNE GAMES
Deep inside the Underground, competition takes on a different form.
The Crowne Games are being developed as a home for competitive multiplayer experiences within the world of Infinity Rising.
And with 0.4.2H, the Games are growing.
TEAM DEATHMATCH
Team Deathmatch has arrived in the Crowne Games.
Two teams enter.
Work together. Control the arena. Eliminate the opposition.
It's a more direct form of competition than many of the activities we've introduced so far — and another step toward expanding the ways players will be able to compete inside Infinity Rising.
But not every Crowne Game is about eliminations.
QUANTUM RUSH
Quantum Rush introduces objective-based team combat.
Each team enters the arena with a collection of Quantum Beacons.
Protect yours.
Infiltrate enemy territory.
Steal their beacons and bring them back to your base.
The first team to lose all of its Quantum Beacons is defeated.
Teamwork, defense, aggression, and timing all matter.
Together, Team Deathmatch and Quantum Rush are the beginning of a larger competitive ecosystem we're building inside the Underground.

ECLIPSE IS COMING ALIVE
After the fighting, there is somewhere else to disappear.
Eclipse Night Club is one of the first social spaces taking shape inside Calido Underground.
And now its dance floor is getting busier.
We're testing new crowd NPC systems inside Eclipse, beginning with groups of characters dancing and occupying the club.
It may sound like a small detail.
But it's part of something much bigger.
Cities shouldn't feel like empty collections of buildings. Clubs shouldn't feel abandoned. Streets, businesses, gathering places, and settlements need people.
Eclipse is helping us test the technology that can bring more of that life into the wider world of Infinity Rising.

36 NEW CIVIC WORKS QUESTS
Life in Infinity Rising isn't only about combat.
With 0.4.2, we've added 36 new quests to Civic Works, continuing to expand the activities and progression available throughout the world.
Civic Works represents another side of the Infinity Rising experience — taking on jobs, contributing to the world around you, earning rewards, and building your own path through the game.
Fight in the Underground.
Build a home.
Take on work.
Explore.
Compete.
Progress.
The goal is a world where what you do — and who you become — is increasingly up to you.
MORE ROOM FOR WHAT YOU FIND
Exploration isn't much fun if you can't bring anything home.
The Modern Building Kit now includes a Player Stash Terminal Chest, giving players a place to offload items and free up inventory space.
It's another piece of the connection we're building between exploration, gathering, progression, and having a place of your own.
Your home shouldn't just look like yours.
It should be useful.
BUILDING TOWARD ALPHA
Alongside the visible additions in 0.4.2 and 0.4.2H, development continues across the systems underneath Infinity Rising.
We've been working on inventory and stash handling, networking, transportation systems, exploit prevention, avatar improvements, lighting, performance, and other areas that help prepare the game for what comes next.
We're also concentrating our current testing population onto our North American server and have moved that server to a more centralized region.
Bringing more concurrent players together gives us better multiplayer data and helps the team identify the networking and performance improvements we'll need as we continue toward Alpha.
These aren't always the changes that make the best screenshots.
But they're an important part of building the world we're working toward.
THE WORLD KEEPS GETTING BIGGER
With each development update, another piece of Infinity Rising starts to connect.
Homes and building.
Professions and quests.
Exploration and transportation.
Social spaces.
Competitive multiplayer.
And now, beneath Calido, an Underground controlled by people who play by very different rules.
There is much more to come.
If Infinity Rising is the kind of world you want to be part of, we'd love to have you with us as we continue the journey toward Alpha. Adding the game to your wishlist is the best way to follow future development.
Follow the development journey and join us as we continue building toward Alpha.
The future is rising.
And beneath Calido, so is something else.
