Building Changes
Changed functionality of destroying buildings - When destroying a placed building part the system previously checked for the building part type and returned the crafting items back to the players inventory.
However, it only returned the destroyed items. Any additional building parts destroyed at the same time were lost.
Also, if the player didn't have enough free inventory space for the materials, they were also lost!
Destroying buildings has been changed so that the system checks for any building part that gets destroyed.
When each building is destroyed, it will now spawn an identical building part of the same type that can be picked-up and collected from the ground
This allows for re-placement of Buildings with no need to craft again and also allows for moving placed buildings.
UI Changes
Added a 5 second countdown timer which displays on UI when exiting game
This allows for player location to be saved correctly before exiting. If a player is inside a Vehicle, the player is ejected and the location is saved to new location next to the vehicle.
Set Mouse Sensitivity to 0.5 as default. (Older settings from the Options Save file were overriding Mouse Sensitivity) Now the Save file is no longer needed, 0.5 is now set as default and can be changed/adjusted as normal
Added [ L ] Flashlight to the Right of Flashlight Battery Indicator
Changed Knockout/Death screen to display Press [ X ] to Respawn Immediately
Added new Weather & Ambient volume slider to Audio Settings/Options menu. Weather volume and ambient sounds (Birds, Crickets, wind/weather effect sounds) can now be adjusted independently of SFX, Master and Music volumes
Added the ability to Open & Close Map with "M" and also Open & Close Quest Journal with "J". Esc and clicking "X" will still close both.
Added a texture overlay to Inventory icons so they are more visible at night
BUG Fixes
Crafting/Buying/Selling Items fixed
After multiple reports when attempting to craft/buy/sell an item, even if an item exists in inventory that isn't a full stack, the action failed with a notification requiring 1 free slot.
Now, when a player attempts to craft/purchase or sell an item, the system checks if there's an existing stack and if it's full. If not full it will add to the existing stack until full. When full, and IF there's no additional free inventory space, the new item will drop to the ground and the Player receives a notification telling them.
Dropped items on ground now persist for 10mins (Previously 5mins) before destroying
EXPLOIT - Fixed an exploit where player location was being saved locally, players were able to circumvent server locations via Server Hopping and entering other players bases.
The Player location now saves to the same save file as all other player data which is saved per server. The additional location save file has been removed and no longer needed.
The Location.SAV file is now obsolete and can be safely deleted locally
STEAM - Fixed Steam Friend invites being sent to entire friends list! Now when you invite a friend to Lobby, only that friend recieves an invite notification. To accept the invite, you need to open the notification and accept and need to have the game open at least at the main menu. You can also invite and join other friends directly from the Steam Overlay (SHIFT & TAB) while in-game
Changed destroyed Chest model to a crate. When destroying a chest, the items that spawn destroyed were spawning inside the Player Tombstone
Moved some of the Wooden Shacks inside the Safe Zone, players were able to get Stuck in between the wall and the shack and not able to move. Because the player location is saved this was causing an issue with the only way to resolve the stuck state was to die and respawn
Game Changes
Adjusted Sky & Weather height & settings - Distance fog is now clearly visible providing more depth, atmosphere and coloration
Distance fog helps mask out areas that shouldn't be visible from height
Adjusted Post Process effects adding more atmosphere to level, tweaked bloom, depth of field, exposure, colour grading and ambient occlusion
Changed Ambient sounds & settings - Ambient sounds (Birds, Crickets, Wind, Weather effects etc) now react correctly to Indoor occlusion (Ambient sound volume lowers when inside a building)
Ambient Sounds now also adjust depending on the time of day (More birds during day, more crickets at night)
Added Hammer recipe to Player Crafting
Optimized multiple Materials, Textures & Shaders to increase performance (Total Game file size reduced from 17gb to 15gb)
Removed & Disabled Options Save file from Loading/Saving. No longer necessary, and only contained some older UI Settings, Mouse Sensitivity & Display Settings which is now controlled by the Options Menu
Fixed a bug that didn't switch player flashlight off when battery was fully drained, now automatically switches off at 0%
Reduced battery drain from 1% every 1s to 1% every 10s
Added stacks of x 5 batteries to spawn table
Increased Light Intensity and Render Distance of Player Flashlight
Adjusted Weapon sound attenuation so that shots fired are not audible until closer to the source and don't sound from distance
Adjusted player physics/ragdoll on death. Player ragdoll is not so rigid
Changed default firing mode for all Ranged rifles to Burst/3-shots. B still toggles between fire modes Full Auto/Single Shot/Burst
Reduced Scrap Barrel Health from 300 to 150, they should now take approx x 5 hits to gather Scrap Metal instead of x 10
Trader outposts now offer all items for sale instead of only resources
AI Updates
Added 4 x new Zombie Types - Zombie Female. Zombie Prisoner, Zombie Doctor & Zombie Nurse

Added sight & sound perception to Deer - Deer will now flee on sight & sound along with flee on damage
Reduced Height on Firefighter Zombie
Loot Changes
Fixed a bug that was disregarding percentage % chance of loot spawning in all containers. Loot was spawning at maximum amounts, and with 100% chance every time.
This bug fix addresses all Container Loot (Crates, Boxes, Chests, Vehicles etc) Zombie AI on death looting remains unchanged.
Container Items now spawn as intended with 60% percentage chance to spawn, and a maximum of 2 items per container. This fix also addressed loot abundance in high value areas such as the Military base, Police Station, Hospital, Prison, Fire Station and Quarantine Zone.
Drinks Vending Machines and Store Fridges now only Spawn drink Items (bottles & cans)
Added Cash Registers to shops with a chance to loot a large amount of Zomcoin
