Overall Stage Difficulty Adjustments
We've refined the overall stage difficulty. Several sections have been reworked for a smoother flow, so you may notice some familiar paths feel a little different.
Adventure Mode and Ranking Mode
Before starting the game, you can now choose a mode that fits your playstyle.
🐦 Adventure Mode
This is the default mode where you can receive help from Bepbird. Save points are stored when you approach a feather.
Press the R key or the D-pad Up button to warp to the nearest save point!
Don't get frustrated when you fall — just call on Bepbird anytime.
🏆 Ranking Mode
A mode where you compete purely on skill, without Bepbird's assistance. It unlocks after clearing Adventure Mode, and leaderboard registration is available!
Players who played previous versions will have Ranking Mode automatically unlocked.
UI
Current height and current save point height are now displayed.
Right-side button guide HUD added.
Can be changed to Toggle Mode / Auto Mode in settings.
NPC notification icon updated.
When an NPC has something new to say, the icon above their head is now a red exclamation mark.
Settings
HUD mode setting added.
Toggle Mode — Toggle the HUD on/off with Tab or RB.
Auto Mode — HUD appears automatically when Hamcho is lying down to rest.
Emergency Escape feature.
If you get lost or stuck after a map change, using this feature will return you to the start of the current stage.
If you find any bugs, please report them via Hamstory DISCORD or Google Form. Your reports help us fix issues faster!
