Hey everyone, and welcome to the first update patch of Pneuma, First and foremost i want to thank everyone for the amazing reception and feedback we have gotten over the past week, while Pneuma has been released. This is one of many updates but this is just a couple of QOL updates and improvements based on feedback and viewing people play the game, below are the updates we addressed in this patch to hopefully improve the quality of the game.
Gameplay
Added the ability to dash through hoards of enemies as this was an issue when people got surrounded and try to dash out, they would sometimes get stuck.
Fixed (I hope) the challenge rooms in the Greed and gluttony Level not being able to complete them.
reduced the amount the Life steal buff did when you only got one upgrade of it, this meant players wouldn't really need to worry about health even when choosing a Bronze upgraded version of it, Level / difficulty should now feel more balanced.
adjusted some Typos that were missed in the full release, everything should be fine now!
Improved colliders in all Levels to help gameplay be less interruptive
Survival Game mode
Added 10 more waves of enemies increasing in difficulty for the Survival game mode - Will keep adding more waves as game goes on
Adjusted spawn locations to stop clipping out of bounds stopping you from advancing
Visual Updates
Adjusted lighting in Hub level, to better reflect what the art team had planned and visioned
Added a few more set dressing in areas, that were missing or needed adjusting
Adjusted lighting in wrath and envy level that didn't bake properly, or look correct
Adjusted VFX Colours and shader colours / strength to better reflect on artists vision
Yet again thank you for everyone that provided feedback, we appreciate and encourage everyone to keep doing so, so the game can be in the best possible state!
Thank you
Intarsia
