Valderit’s First Big Steps
BCN Game Fest
Summary: BCN Game Fest was our first public appearance!!!
Seeing real players enjoying our demo and getting scared by it!
We met incredible people, players and industry professionals from the industry who spoke so highly about the game and its progress. We couldn’t be happier with the reception and feedback that Myth of Valderit received!
What was formerly known as Indie Dev Day turned out to be an amazing experience. Where we learned a lot and gathered valuable feedback to keep improving the game. And the best part? It all happened right here, where we live!
If the universe allows it, we’ll definitely be attending next year’s edition!
Bullet points:
Players enjoyed the horror experience.
The visuals were engaging for the audience.
Players got scared while playing the game.
The character designs were well made.

Sitges Fantastic Film Festival
Summary: Just three days after the Game Fest ended, we jumped in the car toward our next stop, the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival!
For two incredible weeks, a long list of horror films were screened and presented there.
And of course, everything was there: Popcorn, the big screen, the red carpet, and a sea of horror fans! 🍿🎬🖤
In the middle of this amazing event, we had our own stand to showcase the first demo of Myth of Valderit to festival attendees between films.
And they loved it! Many people stopped to take photos, talk with us, and learn more about the project.
It truly was an unforgettable experience not only because of the incredible atmosphere, but also because we became the first horror video game ever to have its own stand at the festival!
Highlights:
The feedback we received at BCN Game Fest was reaffirmed there.
Even people outside the gaming world showed strong interest in the project.
