Khemsaru's first creation was Hek-Urun, a merciless guardian forged from the souls of the empire's fiercest warriors.
The spirit knew no mercy. On the battlefield, he summoned sand whirlwinds that tore apart the orderly ranks of troops and left behind only wind-gnawed bones. Within the empire, he waged a constant struggle against conspirators. It was he who destroyed the priests of Wet-Narib, those who whispered with the Nightsisters and plotted to overthrow Khemsaru.
Even after the death of the pharaoh and the fall of the empire, Hek-Urun found no peace. He continues to guard the borders of the ancient state and will do so until the Sphere itself ceases to exist.
