I will start off by saying that I hope y'all of you with headsets are enjoying GRIP in all it's VR glory. We're quite happy with the reception it's gotten!
Second, I'd like to let you all know that we are still working on content for the game, though things are a bit slow because of the challenges that come with the COVID-19 spread and those affected by the virus. Our hearts go out to everyone affected and we hope that people are staying isolated and are practicing safety if they need to leave their homes.
Now, on to the fun stuff...
GRIP 1.5.1 is now live! Changelist below:
- Fixed custom tournament results. Tourney results now shown in the main UI between tournament events.
- Solidified vehicle / vehicle collision inertia for less troublesome collision.
- Bug fix for not recording a finish time for players that don't cross the finish line before the event is ended in tournament mode. The finish time is now estimated and calculated into the final results which are used to arbitrate tie-breakers.
- Bug fix for text boxes to have them appear in the gamepad UI navigation. You may need to use the analog stick to navigate away from a text box and the D pad gets locked out.
- AI bots now more likely to target multiple vehicles when using a charged Scorpion.
- Improvements to visual vehicle body pitch and roll under G load.
- Improved vehicle launch effects.
- Improved vehicle skidding effects.
- Vehicle engine audio when examining vehicles in the garage.
