ONLINE MULTIPLAYER IS OUT RIGHT NOW!
But that's not all... there's a ton of QOL features and polish too! Let's go through it super quickly (because you should be playing online multiplayer RIGHT NOW instead of reading this).
New Race Lobby: The old one was honestly pretty awful. The new lobby looks way better, has better UI, and is way easier to understand!
New Podium Screen: Before, there was basically no point in winning a race. Now, at the end of a race series, your turtle will be dancing on a podium next to everyone! Look at those moves!
New Race Intro Cutscenes: Every level now has a 10 second quick intro cutscene which shows the level from some cool camera angles.
Now let's get to the part you've been waiting for... online multiplayer! Here are the main online features:
You can host lobbies that are either public or friends only
You can send Steam invites to your friends and give them a button to click that automatically sends them to your lobby
There's a chat you can use by pressing T
Everything should be super smooth, but I make sure to report any bugs on the Discord!
And if you're STILL reading this... GO PLAY NITRO TURTLES ONLINE! And make sure to wishlist the game and join the Discord if you haven't already :)
